Extreme makeover!

We know many woman would ‘Die for a new kitchen’, but maybe taking out a £4500 home improvement loan to pay a hit man to kill your husband is going a little too far!

Mr Kenealy must have been incredibly lazy, untidy and poor at DIY, if that was the best use Zoe Kenealy could find for a £4500 home improvement loan!

Is her 51 year old husband a saint for stating he would stand by his wife, or plain stupid. I am inclined to think the latter.

The seven-year sentence she received for her crime of soliciting murder, seems a little harsh, maybe a little community service would have been sufficient. She would have probably received a smaller sentence if she had been successful in her attempt!

I'm definitely not one of those who die for a new kitchen. Seven years too harsh for wanting to kill your husband? No wonder he is standing by his wife.

I agree it's strange, this husband defending his wife who wanted to have him killed. It's almost unbelievable. As for the sentence, you're probably right, she would have received a lesser sentence if she'd succeeded. This whole story's crazy.

Dear Middle Ditch,
What would you die for?
Your husband? How romantic! LOL

Dear Leigh,
Sentencing seems to have gone a little crazy. I always feel sorry for the motorist who receives a prison sentence for causing a death by careless driving. Maybe that is a little general, but I think if we are all honest, we can look back at a situation when we have been a little less than perfect and the outcome could have had severe consequences...I know I have!

Hi Kb,
Glad to hear from you again. Hope you enjoyed your holiday!
We are now looking forward to only our second holiday abroad as a family. Last time it was Turkey, about four years ago, this time it is Lanzarote.
