A Christmas wish!

My favourite Christmas present this year was Amy Winehouse's album 'Back to black'.
Played out by the band,
Love is a losing hand,
More than I could stand,
Love is a losing hand,

I was impressed that she writes her own own songs, but I think many of the lyrics demonstrate what lies deeper in her mind.

What an amazing voice she has, no wonder she has been nominated for so many awards. I really hope she recovers from her recent difficulties and builds on her success going into the future!

If you get a chance take a listen to track 8 on her album, 'Wake up alone'.
Has Christmas been all you wished for?
Hope you have all had a great Christmas Day and the New Year is everything you dream of!

Merry Christmas Dave,

I've had a really good C'mas. My younger brother is back in the UK with my niece and nephew and his wife, so that has been a bonus. I still remember that I have to go back to FT in the new year and that slightly spoils every day I'm away from that place. If it wasn't for the decent people (on the whole) my job would have become unbearable this year and I'd have left, so thanks for being part of the reason I still have my job.

Hi bsm,
A Happy Christmas to you too. Glad you are having a good time and so are we despite having colds etc.
Kids are made up with their new Nintendo Wii, which is keeping them occupied! Just off to the cinema now to see Bee Movie..speak to you soon.
Dave.

Dear middle ditch,
Just lying in bed with my laptop, so thought I would just reply and wish you a belated Happy Christmas and a Fantastic New Year!
Look forward to listening to episode nine! Can't listen just now as my wife is listening to Sister Act on the TV, so may not appreciate the distraction.
